About African Veil

We welcome you to an Independent Project and a non-profit organisation, raising issues and bringing out news to those that feel left out in the gay communities, our aim is to reach out to all those in different countries all over the world that you are not alone, we hear you and if there is anything that you feel free to contribute to this website please go ahead just know that there is someone out there that will benefit from it.

In case you are wondering why we are called "Zambian Fruits" and how we came up with the name "Africanveil" please read more. When we plant a fruit tree, we usually expect very nice ripe fruits, we always care about the fruit tree but one good thing about these fruit trees is that they have smooth stalks except the lemon tree that has thorns, but all the same all the fruits that you get from these trees are nice and tasty.
That’s how come we have come we decided to call each other in Zambia '' fruits''.  We are fruits that are tasty, good and counted on to grow and ready to be eaten.

As for Africanveil, it’s been hard to look at what to come up with especially when we look at organisations and sites that are looking at Homosexual issues and we thought of looking at Africa as a whole continent that has a veil around it, so we have decided to unveil what’s under the veil of Africa. This website has been dedicated to all the Zambians that have been suppressed of their sexual orientation and to the rest of the Africa.

This website is a non-profit organisation; our aim is to reach out to all those that feel this site will be of any help regarding their gender, and Africanveil welcomes all the correspondence outside Zambia and to the rest of the world and to all those Africans living abroad.
