Beckham is gay choice at
the World Cup

June 2006- David Beckham has topped a gay radio poll of the best
looking international soccer stars.
The England captain took 21 per cent of the vote in GaydarRadio's
Fantasy World Cup League survey.
It appears the England team are a popular choice for style and looks all
round, with five home-grown players making the final 11.
Station director Jamie Crick said that – despite high places for
Sweden's Freddy Ljungberg and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo – his
listeners had stuck by their country.
"The absence of the likes of Argentina's Crespo and Paraguay's Santa
Cruz suggests a touch of heart on sleeve nationalism in the final Gaydar
squad," he commented. "But then the competition in the looks department
is getting pretty tough nowadays."
The station said of its top choice: "As famous for his clothes as he is
for his crosses, Beckhamania knows no bounds. Now at the pinnacle of his
career, Becks is top totty in our league of gentlemen."
