Naked Becks melts the web

2007- Gay fans have crowned football hero David Beckham the world’s top
internet stud.
Saucy nude snaps of the ex-England captain have been sending the web into
meltdown.
The US joined in the global frenzy, desperate for a glimpse of Goldenballs in
all his glory as he prepares to join LA Galaxy.
And we can reveal the shots are even saucier than fans might think. They show
Becks’ head and torso superimposed on the legs and giant crown jewels of a model
featured on a gay porn website.
But the fact that the pictures are a clever fake has not stopped fans across the
world crashing websites as they try to ogle the Real Madrid ace, 31.
And pals say David and wife Victoria, 33, must be secretly delighted, because it
could open the doors for fashion deals as US fans lap up his Becks appeal.
A well-placed internet insider said last night: “In a few months, David has gone
from a relative unknown in America to the most searched-for star on the
internet.
“These pictures are surely the reason why. He’s huge now.”
The sensation over the fake shots has had another benefit – it has meant
Americans are also catching on to REAL nude footage of Becks – although he keeps
his assets well out of sight.
Intimate film of him sleeping naked, taken by artist Sam Taylor-Wood, 40, went
down a storm when it went on show over here in 2004.
Now it is tipped to take the US by storm, too, as part of an exhibition of
famous Brits being taken across the Atlantic by London’s National Portrait
Gallery.
The exhibition is being staged at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington.
But his gay fans in the US would like rather more flesh on show than in the
discreet film.
The editor of one US gay magazine said last night: “David has been bombarded
with offers to get his kit off for a gay mag. He could name his price – he’s
that hot.”
Meanwhile, wife Victoria is pulling out all the stops to make sure she is a
success in her own right as a fashion name Stateside.
She is trying to win over top designer Zaldy Goco. He recently parted company
with singer Gwen Stefani, 37, and now Posh has designs on him.
A pal said: “Victoria thinks Goco will bring some of his unique style to her
designs.”
And after months of house-hunting, David and Posh have found their new LA
Beckingham Palace.
The £11million Italian-style mansion in Beverly Hills will become the family
home in July, when Becks completes his £128m transfer to LA Galaxy. Posh has
flown to the city to seal the deal.
