Missy: ‘I’m not gay’

11 Sept 2007- Missy Elliott has laughed off rumours about her sexuality, saying just because she’s a strong woman it doesn’t mean she’s a lesbian.

The innovative rapper, who has been sounded by speculation about her sexuality because of her tomboys style and lack of boyfriends, also says she doesn’t need a man to make her happy.

“When people see how strong I am, and there’s not a man around, it’s like, ‘What’s she doin’?  she says, “But I don’t need a man to make me happy. I need to make myself happy first.
