Why African fathers won’t accept
homosexuality

I have lived years and year to be 65 years old, I have six children and 12
grandchildren. As an African man I can not accept this modern style of
life that has been introduced from the western world about men sleeping
with fellow men and the same with women, that’s just taboo on this
continent.
To an African man, if he has a son that wants to do that or claim they
were born like that having feelings towards same sex, that would be a
disgrace upon his father. As African men when it comes to having an
intimacy or planning to have a child, we make sure we do the right job
which lives our wives not going to ask for it from somewhere else.
During her pregnancy you continue satisfying her, this is why we say those
men who have sons or daughters that will have their feelings towards same
sex have had weak parents. Usually we refer to the man that he did not do
his work properly. That’s why most of the father or should I say the
majority will not accept what you call homosexuality.
During our time when we were young, we did not hear of all this
homosexuality thing, it’s all originated from the western world. Western
countries have always been successful and we did and still depend on them
in some things. But as for this homosexuality issues that are spreading in
Africa like HIV/Aids, we just find it hard to accept.
If the young generation has chosen to follow that kind of life style, we
will not support them at all, they are on their own and they will not get
any blessings from us, that’s just one way of being selfish. Men have
always been heads, why would an African kingdom want to entertain a prince
who sleeps with his fellow Brothers? As an African man and an African
father and an African elder I will not accept homosexuality.
