Leeds, England- The lesbian soldier who claims she was pestered for sex by a
male sergeant was caught frolicking with a gay squaddie, a tribunal heard
yesterday. Lance Bombardier Kerry Fletcher, 31, allegedly texted "I feel randy"
to the woman before fondling her in the Royal Artillery stables.
A passing soldier claims he then caught them kissing in the hay. Kerry, who
drove a soft top car - registration T4RT X - claims the sergeant boasted in
texts he could "convert her" and bragged of the size of his manhood during 2004.
But
when she made official complaints, her horse became inexplicably lame and other
soldiers made her life a misery, she claimed. "I was criticised for everything I
did. I found that I did not want to go to work," she said. Now in the TA Signals
Regiment at Redditch, Kerry claims sex discrimination and discrimination on
sexual orientation. The hearing in Leeds continues.
