Zambia will never
legalise gay marriages-gov’t
10 Dec 2006- Unlike South Africa,
which has within its legal systems granted same sex marriage, the
Zambian government said it will never pass a law to allow gay marriages.
Zambia’s home affairs Minister Ronnie Shikapwasha said on Saturday that
Zambia maintain its Christian status and will not allow sinful
practices.
The Zambian official said homosexual marriages are a sin in the eyes of
God. South Africa passed a law recently to allow gay marriages.
